David Tsin

David Tsin is an Associate in the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Department.  He represents clients in a wide range of complex business law matters, with particular emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, private equity investments, commercial and financing transactions, and corporate governance and compliance matters.  In addition, David has experience representing clients in connection with both public and private offerings of securities and compliance with SEC reporting and disclosure requirements.   

Prior to joining our firm, David practiced law at the New York office of two prominent law firms, where he focused on corporate and securities law matters.  Before attending law school, David worked in the public accounting profession as an Audit Manager at KPMG LLP.

David earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, both in 2009.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2000.

David has been recognized by the New York State Bar Association as an Empire State Counsel honoree for his pro bono work.  He is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and is also involved with the American Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  

David is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the District of Columbia and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.

David serves on the Junior Committee of New York Cares, a not-for-profit organization, and participates in and supports a number of community service and charitable endeavors.
