Jerold Dornbush is Of Counsel to the Firm’s Real Estate Department.  His practice focuses on retail and shopping center leasing, sales, acquisitions and financing by public and private companies.  Jerold has extensive experience representing national restaurant chains, food service operators and hospitality clients in leasing, franchising, trademark license agreements, area development agreements and alcoholic beverage licensing.  He also represents commercial lending institutions in real estate loan financing of commercial properties and personal loan transactions from origination through closing. Jerold also provides counsel to high net worth individuals  in connection with sales, acquisitions and financing of single family dwellings, cooperatives and condominiums and real estate exchanges.

Prior to joining our firm, Jerold was a partner in the real estate department of a New York City firm with a national real estate practice.  In his 30 years of practice there, his notable work included the acquisitions and expansions of prominent restaurant chains in the metropolitan area.  

He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1984 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1981.  Jerold is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
