Richard F. Harrison is Of Counsel to the Firm’s Litigation Department.  Richard’s litigation practice includes the representation of national depository banks, regional residential lenders, trusts, and mortgage and tax lien servicers engaged in residential mortgage banking, financial service and tax lien litigation. Richard is engaged in all stages of tax lien litigation from  redemptions, auctions, reo sales and tax lien trials , with an emphasis on mitigating the advances and fees incurred by servicers.  Richard has represented national depository banks and servicers on tax lien matters in New York City and various counties throughout New York State. Richard’s 32 years of litigation experience includes regulatory representation of residential lenders and brokers on MLS licensing issues, regulatory compliance under Federal and State consumer protection laws  as well as institutional representation before the New York State Division of Financial Services. Richard continues to litigate on behalf of national title insurers on various issues pertaining to mortgage fraud and foreclosures.

Richard earned his law degree from Pace University School of Law, and is admitted to the Bars of the States of New York and Florida.
